Desnaturalizando los fines del intercambio comercial: los límites del lucro y la usura en Tomás de Aquino

El propósito de este texto consiste en mostrar cómo Tomás de Aquino comprende la actividad económica a partir de la necesidad que tienen los sujetos para intercambiar bienes y atender a las necesidades de la vida y, cómo al mismo tiempo, establece una clara distinción entre el afán de lucro y la satisfacción de necesidades. Esto quiere decir que el afán de enriquecimiento y de lucrum no forma parte de la naturaleza humana, pues ésta se debe dirigir al bien supremo y no a la satisfacción de necesidaes a través del mercado.
