Los individuos en la interpretación de Leo Strauss de la Historia de la Guerra del Peloponeso

Tucídides en su narración de la guerra del Peloponeso otorga un rol fundamental a la acción de los individuos. Para Leo Strauss esta importancia no tiene un objetivo meramente histórico. Lo que busca el autor ateniense es dar lecciones universales sobre la acción política. De esta forma los personajes son también arquetipos y es a través del estudio de estos que el aspirante a político puede aprender cómo lograr una mejor acción, además de mostrar cómo equilibrar cuestiones como la religión y la política.
