Abstract

Psychosis is a disconcerting disorder that gathers a variety of different
symptoms. Despite its strange manifestations, in many important aspects such as language and religion, madness seems to be deeply related to normality. From this point of view, the philosophical study of this condition could be useful to clarify some dark zones of normal human experience. The following article is a reflection about madness, language and nonsense, using some of Wittgenstein’s concepts as a focal point for the discussion.
