Abstract
Carlos Fuentes' “Aura” presents us with a surprising problem when we seek to distinguish or characterize the narrative situation, for the issue in this novel is the narrative voice. That is to say: who speaks in “Aura”? This enigma we will attempt to unravel in this work to achieve a comprehensive understanding of the work, aiming first to delineate and interpret coherently the enunciation, the origin of the novelistic world, and then to focus on the fact that all diegesis is a metaphorical narrative of the world of witchcraft (excerpt from the article).
