Abstract

Both quantitatively and qualitatively, I feel that both literary criticism and historiography are currently undergoing a period of expanding boundaries, shifting boundaries, and embracing new and flavorful perspectives in Chile. I do not intend to provide names or titles in what follows, as such a practice is not in good taste, but I believe that the book by Naín Nómez to which I will refer shortly constitutes a clear representative of the renewing trend that is increasingly and effectively taking hold of the consciousness of our specialists (note).
