Abstract
Too many wounds are left on us after reading “Loco afán”. Lemebel, after “Esquina es mi corazón”, but above all, after his urban chronicles in the now necessary magazine “Página abierta”, leaves us hollow. The chronicle, a genre widely known in Chile, takes an unmatched power with Lemebel. From a completely affirmed identity standpoint, the author traces folds very little crystallized in Latin American cultural expression. They are imagined zones in the rhythm of the voyeur, which are radiographed here with unparalleled lucidity and richness, in a battery of overflowing gay metaphors and tropes.
