Abstract
The image of the poet Sailor is not unfamiliar in literary tradition. “Sailor on Land” by Alberti; “The Captain’s Verses” and “Navigations and Returns” by Neruda, are some established titles that, upon reading these Difficulties on Board by Hubert Cornelius, come to mind in such a way that one might paraphrase García Lorca by saying that “poetry is something that walks the seas”.
